Lee Evans is a Bristol born comedian, he left Bristol at the young age of 13 to go to The Billericay School in Billericay. He then went on to become a boxer and went to Thurrock art collage in Essex. After doing this he decided it was time for a change and followed in his farther’s career in the entertainment business. Lee Evans then moved to Rhyl in Wales and became the drummer of a punk rock band that was called The Forgotten Five.
To get into the entertainment business Lee Evans auditioned for Opportunity Knocks back in 1986, but he was rejected. He then after this managed to get early TV appearances on Friday Night Live and Live From Her Majesty’s. In the early 90′s Lee evens started to get noticed for his loud energetic and sweaty stage performances and his unique physical observational stand up comedy. As he started to get noticed people compared Lee Evans to Norman Wisdom, although he has never regarded Norman Wisdom as any sort of influence.

The ‘RoadRunner’ tour will consist of 50 dates, the tour will be running from August until November. The tickets for this tour went on sale on Friday 15 October and his fans bought £7,000,000 worth of Lee Evens Tickets in the first day of being on sale.
Due to such popular deman 11 more dates have been added to his tour bringing it up to 61 dates across the UK. This is two more than his record breaking tour back in 2008.
